I do understand your feelings man....but we should not strive to be a country that every one fears, that is America, we Indians are not brutes like them neither are we racists ..we are different, we have to become a superpower out of necessity to protect ourselves from these xenophobic hate mongering west and the extreme east(come to think of it, middle east to).We should know no country is going to stand for us in our future we will have to stand for ourselves. Hello Indians, I was not proud about my India till i come in contact with some good books. as i am from kerala, it was not turbulent at the time of Independence-i think. i was better in foreign history than mine-its our educational systems fault. Now i am really proud about my India- Because I HAVE A HISTORY since back from centuries -which doesn't have this modern developed country's-(as most of us called)-they have the yesterdays history only i am proud enough on my country because i learn what it was once before- and i am keeping my hope and dream that it will be back in its full shine soon -IF AND ONLY IF we do our part collectively-not as a keralite/Gujarati/Marathi/or Madrasi. so we can make a collective work at least to our children s as- explain about our mother land since from the centuries back-i advice read and suggest to read good books to them don't make any jocks and statements in presents of our children s which may leads them to a confusion about our dignity. Be careful -they are learning from us- they are our army to fulfill our dreams. Bye.
