Let's not forget the sacrifice of Indian Freedom Fighters and dedication of Patriotic People who made it possible for India. Simply singing patriotic songs won't be enough, we need to follow every bit of our constitution, to make India a better place.I want my country to be "saare jahaan se achchaa" in true sense! Wish for a peaceful, healthy, literate nation. Proud to be an INDIAN !

    Proud to be an indian

I'm a proud to be an Indian today. More than 63 years ago, the constitution of India was formed by the government where liberty, peace and justice were among the basic rights given to each and every Indian. Indian constitution empowers us with fundamental rights and as responsible citizens we need to use them judiciously. Ours is the greatest democracy in the world and I am proud to be a Part of this great Country !

There are countless reasons that make me proud to be an India. India is well known for its ‘Unity in diversity’, is rich in culture and heritage. Apart form offering a wide variety of unique cultural, natural, regional, religious and geographical diversities, the country is equally rich in natural beauty. The sub-continent is the sole example where everyone is considered as brothers and sisters despite of the regional or religious diversities. I feel proud to be born in a country like India.

Being born in a country like India which is rich in culture, heritage, literature, language, tradition etc is in itself a reason to make me proud. The warmth that is felt in my own nation and the sense of belongingness which can be felt only in India makes me feel proud. There are end number of reasons that makes me proud to be an Indian. The love and fraternity, the feeling of brotherhood and the secularism that prevails in India is a big reason that makes me proud to be an Indian.

India is the World's largest democracy with the longest written constitution with a population of 1.2 billion people. This is what makes me proud to be an Indian. Our constitution has been made in such a way which declares India as a democratic, republic, federal and Secular nation and this feature of the Constitution is unique. I am proud to be an Indian for countless reason and one of which is this.

There are several reasons that makes me proud to be an Indian. I belong to a nation that values people, traditions, beliefs and above all humanity. People of India are the most generous people in the World this is another reason that makes me proud. However, it is a privilege to be born in such a great nation which is rich from every aspect.

Frankly speaking, I don't need any reason to feel proud to be an Indian. India is my motherland, my birthplace - this reason is enough for me to feel proud of being an Indian. My country is my identity. Wherever I go around the world, people recognise me as an Indian. May be because of my skin colour or passport, but I feel proud to be recognized as an Indian - a Bharatiya!
