If I was born else where, would i know the spiritual science and about moksha (the most desirable goal for every living being) to the extent I know now?

Does any other country has Agasthya, who travelled to most of the planets in the solar system? Did any other country know bramhastra?
    The birth place of '0'.
Indian horoscope and astrology is mature.
This is the place where shankara and buddha walked.

I feel a sense of pride when I see my country achieve glory in sports, technology or any relevant field, however I also feel anger, dejection, frustration when I see corruption, travel on badly maintained roads, face power cuts, see garbage dumps overflowing, disinterested policeman on the roads, traffic chaos..........when are we going to rid ourselves of this malaise??????

After seeing the deformities of india and many issues that still prevails I still proud to be an indian as knowing the fact that one does not leave their children no matter how bad they are. Same is the case with me. I cannot leave my country no matter how many issues this country have. I am still proud to be an indian and work for the betterment of the country as this nation has given me the values which are priceless.

I actually feel proud to be an Indian because of its rich culture and heritage. No matter how advance we become but we never forget our long lasting and age old traditional values to respect older people and bow heads down while greeting someone. This is the humbleness that our culture has taught us. I simply proud to be an indian as this is the country that has given us so much in terms of food, shelter, money and everything. Its richness is so wide that cannot be expressed in words. The values of indian culture are incited inside every indian and me of course.

I am proud to an INDIAN because here younger s still still respect to their elders.only in INDIA it is possible that people worship a river(GANGA) like mother. There are many women who worship their husband as GOD RAM & it can happen only in INDIA.

I agree to you to some extent but just worshiping god does not make any one proud to be an indian. Apart from the various culture and traditional values followed by the indian people there are many other things that we should be proud up on such as faith in stone, history of india, cultural values and unity in diversity. India is very colorful and so are the people. The values possessed by the indian and given by our ancestors are deep rooted inside every indian that they are proud of.

I feel proud to have been born in India because we got our freedom through non violence, even today when lots of other countries are facing violence for freedom, our great leader like Anna Hazare has initiated such a big kranti" India against Corruption" through complete, spotless struggle, with not a single incident, wherein lakhs of people are agitating throughout the country ,even abroad.
We taught the world the value of "Zero"by one of our great saints Swami Vivekanand.
We have very rich heritage, very great cultural richness, a great scientific temper and a number of great learning Institutions. Our students are earning fame world over in modern science particularly the information technology.
    Live long India & Indians.

I'm proud of our country for the many things that we have given to the rest of the world. We have had some great scientists, writers, philosophers and teachers who have changed the world for the better.

I hope we will have more of these teachers and leaders who will now look inward to help our country and make it a better one! I'm also thankful that we do not have a crazy government that would attack its own people like we have recently seen!

    Keep it up India!

I am proud because Tagore wrote Jana Gana Mana for Lord Krishna

Tagore wrote Jana Gana Mana For Lord Krishna. Please read the short article I've posted at your website.

The British created the myth that our gods and goddesses are mythological characters. This is not true and our Vedic scriptures confirm it. That is why I am proud to be an Indian.

I am Proud to be an Indian

I'm Proud to be an Indian & I need no reason to feel proud to be Indian or proud of my country.... I am completely in love with my Nation and that is enough for me to lift my hand high in the air when I say - I am Proud to be an INDIAN Actually I can not explain What , Why I'm proud to be an Indian but all I can say is .... Feelings can't be put into words... Love is something that can't be explained why.... If one is able to explain it to the full What, Why and How of this question then..... I can't explain why I am PROUD to be an INDIAN.... Another similar question that can't be answered-"Why do you love your family" But I am very very Proud to say that I am an INDIAN.....:)

India is a place rich in culture and heritage with its unique touch of natural and scenic beauty. It is known for its "Unity in Diversity”. The Nation with its diverse culture, religion, language makes it unique form the rest of the nations. The enduring development in various fields like science and technology, medicine, dance, music etc is making us proud to be called as an Indian.

First of all - I am proud and feel gifted to be born in India - there is no place in the whole world like India, We are free today - but get this freedom my forefathers have shed their blood for this great nation - I will do every thing and any thing to protect my country, help my brothers and sisters -which every language or religion they may be, all Indians are by brothers and sisters - India will be the richest nation - and that is my dream.
