    @ Neeru

You are 100% right, everything has changed in a society, we are advance in science and technology, BUT about girls our society is backword.we should think & do something for Indian women, otherwise we'll lose everthing.

No particular reason for rise in divorce cases

This is really wrong to say that modernization or female self independent has led to increase in number of divorce cases. Rather this has contributed to a civilized society today. :D
There can be any reason like misunderstanding among the partners, adjustment problem, financial crisis in the family, any mismatch between the pair, or any other reasons etc. :(
If the couple succeeds to make at-times required compromises by leaving their self esteemed respect behind for sometime then this rise can definitely be put upon a full stop to. :)

this is what i've been hearing quite often these days.... :(
well, do u think remaining closed minded and surrendering to all the evils in your married life without struggle is more dignified than standing against all evils and making your own way of life?
i've recently heard of a friend's divorce where her husband was already married. Im proud that my friend took a wise step to leave him.

divorce rates are on the rise

there seems to be rise in divorce rates in india as the women of india are coming forward with more self reliable attitude. these days there are many conflicts amongst couples which relate to various aspects of incompatibility. also another reason adding to the increasing rates of divorce is that todays women are of working class and they earn their own money.

What Leads To Divorce In India?

Adultery cum incompatibility is most well known reason for divorces, plus in modern India nuclear-family structure, mismatched expectations, professional ambitions leads couples into parting their ways. Even today's empowering women with economical independence and family backing could afford the divorce alternative suitably.

In my view, its due to high incompatibilities between the couples. Sometimes the cases are due to infidelity and polygamous nature of men who get indulged with other women. Indian men and women should try to learn and take responsibilities in life because, divorce could not only ruin their lives, but also the child's life if his/her parents get divorced. People should try out compatibilities before getting engaged with one another.

There are many reasons for the rise in divorce rates. Incompatibility is indeed one of the most important reasons that cannot be ignored. In arrange marriages this problems usually arises whereas in love marriages divorce rate is high due to the problem of expectations. Lovers after turning in to a spouse compare their earlier life with today's life that gives birth to several issues of married life. External affairs is also the main reason for the divorce.

Divorce rates are high due to incompatibility and I completely agree with greatindia's views. When two people are not able to adjust with each other or live forcibly with each other then the problem of divorce arises between the couple. Spouses usually become dull and uninterested in each other which results in fights. Divorce rates are rising high in india due to extra marital affairs as well and the influence of western culture.

In my view India never faced such divorce rates ever before unlike now. The main contributing factor to this issue is westernization of society and failure to understand each other. The present generation youth do not stick to the parents choice which is the reason why relations are breaking.

Undoubtedly, the number of divorces now-a-days have mounted to a great extent. In my view the reason behind it is the lack of tolerance, commitment, adjustment etc. A case was reported that a woman filed a divorce petition in the family court reporting the ill-treatment against her by the in-laws. After much investigations and questioning it was found that she filed a petition because she was asked to wear saree by her husband and the petition was dismissed.

The rate of divorce is escalating at a faster pace and the reason for so many divorces today is lack of understanding, compromise, adjustments and above all everyone likes to live their lives with their own terms and conditions. Lack of tolerance is yet another reason for maximum divorces that that are being reported today. People have become so materialistic that love happened to be the sole binding force earlier is lost in the mist and marriage today is no longer regarded as an eternal bond that is made in heaven.

Divorce rate is increasing not only in India but all over the world. There are many reasons that has resulted in divorces. Some of the reasons include lack of understanding, tolerance and above all lack of love. Moreover, with modernization, the family values have become less important and people have become more career oriented due to rising competition. There are other reasons as well for the rise in divorce.
