A lion catches a tiny mouse and decides to let it go instead of eating it. Later, the lion gets trapped in a hunter's net, and the same little mouse comes along and gnaws through the ropes to free him.
Why it’s my favorite :
It’s simple, short, and extremely powerful. The moral of the story, “Even the smallest act of kindness is never wasted,” hits hard. It reminds us that no matter how small or powerless someone seems, they can still make a big difference—and that kindness often comes full circle.
