Hockey has been declared as the National Game of India but the future of hockey in India seems to be dark and this is because of lack of proper training, facilities as well as interest. In my view hockey should be introduced in schools and colleges and the media should take active par in promoting the game or else the game will loose its significance and this pathetic condition of the National Game is a shame for the Nation as well as its people.
