India is on the 2nd position in terms of population growth with 1.2 million people residing in India after China. The raising growth of population in India is giving birth to several social, political and economic issues in India. The reason behind population explosion are population momentum, high birth rate, low death rate, no family planning, illiteracy, high mortality rate of infants etc. By controlling these causes, population growth can be controlled.

Population explosion is definitely a major issue of concern as it is leading to various problems that India is facing today. One of the main reason behind population explosion is immigration of people from neighbouring countries in search of work. These immigration from countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan etc should be stopped in order to control the population growth.

Population Explosion is something that India is seeing at an uncontrolled rate. It has increased the competition in the country and has made many areas such as provision of various services to the people unmanageable.

What are the reasons for population explosion in the country?

. Lack of education and awareness. People do not realize the adverse effects of population explosion.

. A belief in some families that the more children that they have, the more finance will they have.

. Due to a lack of employability in some cases, people think in terms of raising families only.

These days there are so many and easy methods of family planning are available. D
Some of them are birth cobtrol tablets, barrier methods and hormonal methods like implantable rod and contraceptive shot. Family planning in India can't be implemented without society's help and social awareness.
