Need Information - Dalhousie in winter

Hi guys,

Is there anyone of you who has visited Dalhousie (Himachal Pradesh) during winter? I am planning to go to Dalhousie. I need some information regarding the same:

  1. Is it snow heavy in Dalhousie?
  2. how much time does it takes to travel from Kathua to Dalhousie?
  3. Pics of Dalhousie in Winter.
  4. Number of any good hotel in Dalhousie.

its a Beautiful place. In case you are interested in trekking, YHAI organises trek to Dalhousie every year at minimal charge of Rs.4000. its safe and reliable.

I was suppose to go last year but couldnt due to some personal problem, but hopefully, this year I'll be able to do it.

What the best time of the year to visit? iv been to shimla and manali before but not dolhousie.
 
depends which place you are from, During British Raj, Dalhousie was their summer destination as it was cooler than other regions, like shimla and manali.

If you want to see Snow, then October to February is the best season.

Otherwise, if you want to get away from heat then, You can go from April to September.
Anytime you go, its BEAUTIFUL!!!
