Manikaran is a popular pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Sikhs as it has several temples and Gurudwaras. Manikaran is a hamlet in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The hamlet has mythological tales attached to it and this makes it a popular pilgrimage destination and is about 45 kms from Kullu. Manikarna being situated in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh, the hamlet also is well known for its natural beauty amid the hills and mountains of the great Himalayas. The place also has several hot water springs which are considered to have medicinal values. Some of the places of tourist attraction in Manikarna are Ramchandra Temple, Temple of Lord Shiva, Harinder Mountain, Parvati River, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurudwara, Vishnu Kund etc.
