Immigration to Australia

Hi,

I am a computer professional with around 6 years experience in SAP & age is 33. My basic degree is B.com but I have a SAP certification. According to one immigration agent I qualify for the PR, so I want to know whether I really qualify for the PR. Also in case if I qualify should I go ahead & file for the PR on my own or is it advisable to take the service of any agent?

Also please guide me about the SAP job prospects in Australia. Is it worth taking risk at this juncture?

Thanks & Regards,
Shree.

And you are in SAP Functional or Technical? Anyways, SAP was in demand before the recession and now as the markets are picking up, it will find it's glory days back.

Having said that, I'd advise you to wait for at least 1 year before jumping into any conclusions. If there is a double dip in US' economy, then mate there are troubles ahead.

There are some immigration agents who guarantee a PR after a look into your profile if you meet the necessary criteria. I'd advise you to go for some agent based in Australia who would give back all of your transaction costs, should anything go wrong.

Australia calling

Most Indian students immigrate to Australia to get a better education on the specific fields that they look for. There are better job opportunities in the IT field and what describes best about the immigration is adding a tag of NRI to them. While there are several issues to consider while immigrating to Australia, you should also look for alternatives that would allow you to stay back home. India too is fast developing.
