HTC is a well-known brand for smartphones. HTC launches its new smartphone Windows Phone 8X and comes with a price tag of Rs. 35,800/-. This phone comes with a beautiful and elegant design and the combination of rubberized polycarbonate and glass gives it the perfect finish. It has a 4.3 inch super LCD display and sports an 8MP camera with an LED flash. It comes bundled with HTC apps like Flashlight, HTC Hub, etc. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with a dual-core Krait CPU and Adreno 225 for graphics along with 1 GB RAM. It is a quad-band GSM and 3G handset and has other connectivity options like Wi-Fi ‘n’ with dual-band support, Bluetooth v3.1, NFC and microUSB. This smartphone from HTC has a 1800mAh battery with a 7-hours and 40-minutes of video playback time. It also has a good front facing camera for video calling. This Smartphone from HTC seems to be a good deal but if the price was little low that this phone is the best choice.

Major hinderence for the phones like this doesn't come from the pricing point of view. its the windows atmosphere which comes as a problem. lesser number of applications is a major issue which windows has to address sooner or later.... Balmer should be more concerned about the usability which is defined by applications and not by looks of the phone . although windows is working in the direction people are still not convinced about their efforts. I bought a samsung galaxy phone just because i love to play temple run and it is available on android platform ...we as consumer are no smart enough to look for the choices and go for the best suited ones... till then people will be maintaining a distance from windows phones
