A huge amount of money is allocated every year for the welfare of the economically backward class of the society. However, it has been witnessed that the welfare schemes that are made by the Government are just namesake and the actual needy ones cannot avail them and most often it is seen that the welfare funds are used up by the politicians to provide facilities to a particular group of people who are deemed as their vote banks. What do you think are these welfare schemes being ignored just to transfer money for vote bank politics?

In my opinion, the welfare schemes are definitely ignored to transfer money for vote bank politics. I agree with you that the amount of money that is been allocated for the welfare of the economically backward class of the society are being used to provide benefit to the ones who constitute the vote bank of the politicians. Government should utilize these funds for development and upliftment of the economically backward section instead of using it to gain votes.

I agree that the welfare schemes are misused by politicians and are used for vote bank politics. The people who actually belong to the economically backward section of the society are deprived of their rights. These funds should be used for upliftment of these people rather than using it for vote bank politics.

In my opinion Congress government has a signature style of resenting these schemes. they have always been indifferent towards the middle class of this country and all their schemes can be summarized in one sentence" Rob the middle class, serve the rich class and distribute free stuff to poor class".
They don't understand that middle class is the fuel that energizes the engine of growth in this country, and that is the main reason why we have witnessed slow growth rates over the time whenever congress comes in power. There was a time when a sluggish growth of 4% was termed as hindu rate of growth and we had accepted as a norm and part of life.
we need a government which understands a thing as simple as this, till then no economist or politician can save our country.

It does make me feel so! Because politicians make many promises before and during the elections but then nothing is really done. All that money which they are actually supposed to allocate for the welfare schemes get utilized for either their personal benefits or for the benefits of the political party, most probably to gain votes. I think there should be a strict mechanism in place to monitor the misuse of funds by the political parties and ministers. Agree?
