Ahobilam is a chief pilgrimage destination of India foe being one of the 108 Vaishnava Divyadesams in India. It is situated in the Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. The place is also called Ahobalam and is famous for its two temple houses, lower Ahobilam and upper Ahobilam. The place has several temples built in the town and around the Nallamala Forest Range. Ahobilam is well-known for its ancient temples and unique architecture. The town has mythological tale attached to it which makes it a popular pilgrimage destination. Ahobilam has nine temples dedicated to Lord Narasimha and Mukhalingam, Srikalahasti, Srisailam, Kapila Theertham, Bhadrachalam, Mangalagiri, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Manga Puram, etc are the other temples that grabs the attention of the tourists.
