Okay, so you think you have done something really great that deserves a pat on your shoulders? You must be feeling so proud of yourself and might have already reached to the seventh sky because you think you have done something so commendable, right? Because you have bought Joota and Chappals in the name of the Indian Army or the Country!! Nothing more makes you feel good because purchasing of joota and chappal is simply a noble action according to you and it certainly makes you a true Indian or a Patriot, isn't it? Well, then in order to wash away your misconception and to open up your eyes, we would like to tell you that you have done nothing great at all! Rather, this shows that how small the 'Pride' is for you that you can even seek and feel it by purchasing Joota and Chappals in the name of the country.

You might ask now; that what is wrong in buying joota and chappals in the name of the army or the nation, after all we are investing for a noble cause and moreover, we are investing our money in the nation's welfare and developmental tasks? But before we answer you back, why don't you question yourself first that; mere buying joota and Chappals would actually help in nation building? Are the pride and dignity of the country so small that it could be attained by buying so small things? And also is this the way you think you are going to help and support in the nation building? Well, let us say why not to see a bigger picture or a better option to invest and help the nation for its welfare? Why not to choose an action that which is more dignified and broader? Why not to choose a way that has a futuristic prospect and big horizons? Merely buying joota and chappals in the name of the nation having the thought that it is a noble act will only give you temporary contentment but such things will not satisfy your inner conscience forever.

So do you want to know what that better option and the broad way is? Well, we are not here to disrespect your feelings and affection for the motherland, but we are surely going to show the right way to materialize your aspirations for becoming a valuable member of the country. There is certainly a better approach that will not only help you in realizing your dream to help and contribute to the country, but will also be prolific for the people in the family and the society. If you want to invest your hard and fast money then invest it in purchasing the "National Saving Certificates". These National Saving Certificates are the Saving Bond authorized by the Government of India and are used for small savings and saving of Income Tax investment in India. These are purchased for a period of five to ten years after the maturity of which the amount is doubled and given to the holder. The amount of money ranges from minimum 100 rupees to maximum. The holder of these Certificates gets the Tax Benefits under the 80C Section of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Now this is something really good and dignified way of investing money in the name of the country which will help you to direct your money in the righteous manner for the welfare of the nation and in other development tasks. Let me now come up with other good things that are directly related to this phenomena. When you buy these saving certificates first of all; it fills you with the utmost contentment that you have done something noble and you have taken the initiative for contributing to the wellbeing of the nation.

Secondly, it will help you to raise your savings from a futuristic point of view; no matter the amount is small or big money coming to you in any form never seems awful and moreover, this is the money that you had invested in the name of nation so this would be more pleasing while receiving.

Thirdly, this might work as a wonderful idea for you if you truly want to channelize your child's mind in good habits. Encouraging your children to buy these certificates will help them to earn a good habit of saving the money (pocket money/other small savings). This is will also help your children to realize that no matter what age they are in, they can also contribute their bit in the welfare task of the nation, they will feel pride and good about their actions and this is how this good chain of noble actions will proceed in the lineage.

Fourthly, this action is itself like spreading a positive and enlightened thought in the society. If each one of us realize our duty towards the nation, then nothing can resist us from buying these certificates which is so simple yet a great thing to do. These certificates grant Tax Rebates then why to steal the tax and being indulged in unfair means. The government of the country is, itself, allowing and offering such beneficial plans, then what is holding us back from not implementing the contributing acts.

Think over the above points that we have discussed with you and then decide on your own that what is more worthy; buying a Joota/Chappal in the name of the country or investing the money in the Country's Saving Bonds? And don't forget; Pride doesn't lie in jootas it lies in the great thoughts and in your right approaches! Joota/Chappals will last for one year or so but a right investment at a right time will last for many and many years with self contentment of doing a right thing as well.
