It is high time that the men in this country now have a relook at their attitude for women and start respecting them for what they are. If men change their ways, women will automatically have a free and dignified life.
Strict Law and Order
It is important that you have strict vigilance and law and order in place. Especially, when a girl is traveling alone, there must be provisions to make her feel safe and sound. Have toll free numbers that can reached out on distress. Have women constables in public places where women can report any untoward activities. Such things will make any women feel more safe anywhere in the country and the parents too will have sound sleep over their daughter’s safety.
Making this country a safe home for girls is not only the responsibility of her parents, but the entire community. We must ensure that every girl in this country is treated with dignity and is free to move anywhere in the country without fear. Then only a day will come when parents will allow their daughters to travel along with any apparently fear of her safety.
