As it is known that India is the most youthful country of the world i.e. has the maximum youth population, but is this youth really powerful..... The youth has more of spending power but in terms of standing up for national issues the spark seems to be more than missing.... expect for a few exceptions here & there, the youth doesn't seems to be doing much for India's future.....Do you agree?

    Busy life!

Young reformers cannot be seen untill and unless they come above their selfish interest. To make young reformers you do not need to have extra looks but that spark to change the world.

Yeah rightly said I can't have agreed more but the point is what should be done in order to make youth realise its responsibilities?... according to me a change in education system wherein the students are made to realise their responsibilities as students is needed..........

YEs, ex\actly but have you seen the atmosphere of todays schools? If you go and see tehn you will realise what all shit is going around in the schools.. Students are more irresponsible these days. They prefer drungs, dating, and stylish living rather than thinking about their country's problem.. :x

    Youth of India

The youth of India is India’s future and they should understand that they need to perform some duty towards their own nation, which have given them their true identity. Mostly the youth are commenting on the condition of the nation but rarely are they making any efforts to pull their nation out of this messy condition. They educated youths are the main who can help their country guide to the apex of success and harmony, but most of them prefer to migrate and live comfortable life abroad. The youth should understand that they need to work at the root cause to eradicate all the issue of the country and make it powerful and developed.

yes i do agree that indian youngsters need to act more on issues which need attention. youngsters are provoken easily but then they do not act much to issue. its the powerlessness of youth that is stopping them from this. youngsters must think of ways to gain power and be capable of bringing reforms to the country.

    Dear Ignited Minds,
Yes its true that more needs to be done. its equally true that many young minds are working for development of our beloved nation.
But still more needs to be done.We all need to join hands and educate our younger generation ( the kids) and fill lots of love in their hearts.
If we do that and if we are capable of creating one more person like Abdul Kalam, our efforts will be a huge success.
    whats your opinion?

why talk about young reformers when we are the witnessing the old reformer named Anna Hazare and his triumph on lok bill. He is indeed one of the most strong citizen who has not only worked for india in literal ways but has the power to change the system. who says india needs only young people, even the old aged people are working and taking courageous steps to change the face of our nation.

yes i do agree that indian youth is not contributing much to the reformation of india. but education wise, indian youth are doing their best of what is available. in other sectors such as politics, youth are not allowed to venture in and this is the main reason why there is no initiative from the side of youth. however if youth collectively take part, then the scenario would be completely different.

in india, i think the young are confined only to education sector. we yet await young venturing into politics and bring important and worthy reforms for the nation. i think the government can utilize the scheme of reservation here by allotting a quota to the youth so that they can come into politics. and there should be some written and personal examination before recruitment. this sounds something new and different but i think this would change things a lot

One of the main reason behind the lack of spirit and patriotism in india and its youngsters are busy life and the corruption as an evil. People even if they want to do something they are being suppressed by the people around them and demotivate them as they think that nothing could be changed. this is the main reason of lacking patriotism in indian people. Busy life is another reason that is taking heights. people are very much engrossed in their won work that they do not have time to think about their country as they are busy in earning living for them.

Indian youth are the young reformers of india as they can not only contribute in the science and technology but can also give their contribution in the field of politics and civil services. but these days hardly anyone wants to join the system and try to think to change it. The most important need of today's government scenario is demanding the change in the system and the removal of the corruption. These young reformers if contribute a bit then also it will make a huge change in the system.

@Economists: there is no denying the fact that indian young reformers need is becoming a need of today's time and scenario but people are least bothered about thinking something for this country as they are busy buying a home outside the country and want to settle down there as they get good money over there. There are very few young reformers who work for india and think about the future of india. Though it is the need of today's generation to join politics and bring some change.

Young reformers are the need of the hour! The youth can always participate in almost every field and bring about the changes in less time. Though experience counts when we compare youth with those of elderly ones, but the youth are dynamic and full of spirits. In my view government must start reducing the retirement age and increase the number of youth workers in the public domain.
