Most Indian women who do yoga regularly attest to power of yoga to heal body and Mind. Even if you are the one who has never tried yoga and find yourself intimidated by the thought of twisting your body into a pretzel, don't worry. With various types of yoga forms to choose from, this ancient way of exercising offers Health and peace of mind for everyone.

    Ananda yoga : This form of Yoga is one of the gentlest types of yoga, and choose this form of yoga if you are older and you have never tried yoga before. Anand Yoga focuses on moving breath and energy throughout the body, body alignment, and the power of controlled breathing. Women must Practice this yoga for stress free life and to ensure healthy posture and spine alignment.

    Vinyasa yoga : Famous and physical yoga Form that focuses on progressive movements and poses and regulation of breath. Women can choose vinyasa yoga to strengthen the body , Muscles and improve flexibility.

    Ashtanga yoga : One of the most physically challenging type of yoga, It focuses basically on a progression of postures and controlled breathing. At highest form of Astanga Yoga, it demands concentration and body strength. Ashtang yoga has been known to cause sweat and bliss in equal shares. It is known to increase flexibility, stamina and improve the blood circulation.

    Bikram yoga : It is practiced in approx 95 to 100 degree temperatures. It is a comprehensive form of yoga that is used to improve flexibility , muscle strength and stamina. Indian women can also use it to lose weight and to promote detoxification.

    Power yoga : Generally power yoga refers to an American version of traditional Ashtanga yoga, with focus on muscle building and strength training.Women can practice power yoga to supplement aerobic workouts.

    Hatha yoga : It is the most popular form of yoga, Hatha yoga is the foundation of all other forms of Yoga practices. Hatha yoga is popular with women of all ages and all body types because it is based on generally easy to learn postures, known as Asanas. Many women practice hatha yoga as a means of exercise, toning, stress management, and spiritual practice.

    Kundalini yoga : This form of yoga focuses attention to the spine, especially the reawakening of energy at its base and the flow of breath upward through the body.Women can practice kundalini yoga for stress management and to improve spine health.

    Yoga is one great therapy to cure or control various types of diseases. Yoga therapy is gift from India to other countries. Yoga make you healthy. To keep you healthy no need to go gym. You can simply practice some of yoga poses.

    Yoga has benefitted me , and I am sure by the time my children will grow up it will become a ritual like morning prayers to do yoga everyday.
