Recent survey showed women from India's different parts are bought, sold and trafficked to other countries. These girls or women generally sourced from Dindigal, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Chengalpattu in Tamil Nadu, Gaya, Patna etc. and are supplied to South Africa, Kenya, Thailand, many Middle East Countries, where they are compelled to work as sex-workers, even undergoes severe abuse.
This is a grave issue and indian government must look into this issue at the earliest. We cannot allow our indian women be turned into slaves in other nations. This is against humanity, against our nation and against the moral and ethical values of us being an indian. Sex racketeers must be busted soon to curb this issue.
Women Trafficking is a serious issue in the country. It is a crime that leads to many other crimes, like a series.Kidnapping,Rape,Prostitution and murder are the crimes related to Trafficking.Sex Racketing takes place intensively but quite easily in many remote areas of the country.Girls belonging to poor families residing in remote areas of the country are fooled by the middleman and brought to the cities. They are mercilessly sold here and are forced to submit themselves to the customers. This issue should be strictly handled by the government.Government must deliver strict punishment not only to the sex racketeers but also to those people who encourage it.Government officials should work for the nation and stop taking bribes from these criminals. We must save the women of the nation.
Women trafficking still persist even after a law has been passed in the year 1956. Passing of The Immoral Traffic Act (Prevention), 1956, prevents flesh trade and prostitution of women in all its types and methods. This act was intended to control and eliminate traffic and prostitution of women, children as a structured way of income. Sadly enough, even after passing a prevention act, women are still been trafficked to different parts of the world for prostitution and such other illegitimate activities.
Women trafficking are a major issue of concern which is prevalent since a long time. Women are sold to other nations, especially to the middle-east nation in return of money. However, even if acts are enacted, there is no improvement and women trafficking still continue. Government should take some stern steps and prevent this immoral trafficking. Moreover, police should be more strict and vigilant in order to stop it.
Women trafficking have become a major issue in India and this is happening because many Indian states do not have enough girls due to female foeticide and homicide. These can only be solved by educating people against female foeticide and making them aware about the consequences. Moreover, people should be taught to respect women and this can be a good way to stop this inhuman act.
