Women in India has already started taking part in sports actively. It all started from P.T. Usha who served as inspiration for most of the Indian ladies. And now we have women in almost all the sports, Sania Mirza in Tennis, Saina Nehwal in Badminton, and Sunita rani in track field are to name a few. There are loads of them more! We now are in a era where women are not just left behind, instead they take part equally in all aspects of life. Let us acknowledge it and encourage it!

I agree with you that women of India are no longer left behind others and have joined Indian Sports. Despite of facing several discrimination and adversities, Indian women in sports have managed to bring glory to our nation. There are several women sportsperson but they are not encouraged and acknowledged. We should all take proud of these women and encourage them and acknowledge their potential as they are also the gem of our nation.

It is true that women today have achieved a lot in the field of sports but unfortunately, gender discrimination still exist in the field of sports. Women players are given less facilities as compared to men and even they are paid less than men. However, women in Indian sports have been capable of fetching glory to our nation and have made us proud even in the international level.

Women in India has always been neglected in India. Although, their were many potential women who could have become great sports persons, owning to the cultural and traditional conservativeness of Indian society, where women was just considered to be perfect as home makers they were never given the opportunity to prove themselves. However, today, with a little change in the society, women are encouraged to join sports and have brought in glory to the nation even in the International level. Women in India are today encouraged to join sports and prove their potential.

  5. It has taken many years for women to gain a semblance of equality in sports. But now-a-days we can see there is a high impact of a second generation of young women growing up with a much higher chance of developing an interest in sport, and female sporting celebrities providing role models who are closing the gap with non-sport celebrities and their male counterparts. Although women are still neglected and many are left unnoticed yet, they have resulted in outstanding performances.
