Women in Indian armed Forces - What is your opinion ?

Our country talks about equality & no discrimination on the basis of cast sex religion etc..

but what about Indian Armed Forces. Girls are not given equal opportunities or rights in them . What is your opinion on this matter?

When Women Bill could not be passed in Parliaments by members after a lot of hue & cry , how can you expect equal opportunities of women in Armed forces? Our MPs shed crocodile tears for women but does nothing because their own share will be curtailed. Let us hope from new generation who have taken birth in free India after 1947, If they can.
 
It is good to hear the news that the women is having the equal opportunities in indian army,

but on the otherhand, i personally think that the women are physically weeker than men, then how could be able to survive at the time of war?
 
talkin abt d opportunities for women in armed forces...they r endless...they r readily accepted by all d 3 wings of indian armed forces...n ofcouse they r proving there worth here tooo...thats why government is considering to grant them permanent comission in other arms and services too like that of amc(army medical corps)...but we have to accept tht d fair gender is not yet ready to be accepted in extreme combat roles..yet they can b taken as supporting roles and other arms and services like enggeneering,logistics,accounts etc...

U are a bit right there..... Possibly women can be sometimes a less stronger than few men but thts because women arent given a chance.....Women have more resistance power than a man....From day a man is born the kind of work he is given is wat makes him stronger where as women have a lot of hardwork but wat she hears is " oh tht work is requires a lot of strength let a man do it women cant".....If a women is treated equally she can create wonders.....I think we all remember Jhansi ki rani, jijabai, florence nightangle and list goes on.....War front is juz not using ur strength but also ur intelligence and most thing is able to resist in front of enemy...... so man and women have different qualities. As a result, think if nt on warfront but at other work women should be given a chance.....
