Wireless Broadband is a technology that avoids wire transportation. In India, the country which is populated with 1.1 Billion, merely 6% people are using this wireless technique. In country, there are large numbers of Broadband service providers available. India is still fighting with speed of 256 kbps, whereas USA is leading with speed of over 51 Mbps. It has been proved that internet can speed up business output, so ultimately it can multiply income, jobs, employment and government profits in up-and-coming financial system. Growth of these wireless Broadband technology is necessary in India as it can lead country to the top of the world.

There are some ways, which can lend a hand for development of wireless techniques in India. By making Indians aware of data network and internet as nationalized communications, we will be able to amplify these techniques. If we encourage investments in development and diffusion, by supporting ISPs and telcos, we can develop it. According to Industry Analyst, applications of wireless broadband in India should distribute nearly 50 to 60 administration services through mobile channels. Wireless broadband services, commenced by new operators that secured 3G and broadband Wireless Access license, will further get down equipment expenses, so customers will get it in cheap cost. Lately BSNL declared the launch of a high speed wireless broadband service while India Wide Internet access facility was progressing. This service is named EVDO, which can provide you speed of 2.4 mbps. Company states that it is faster than stimulating mobile services.

We cannot say that India is not talented enough to develop these wireless systems. In fact with the exponential expansion in sales of laptops and Personal computers, the acquaintance and requirement for these wireless infrastructures is rising speedily. Many Wireless Broadband service Providers like Sify, BSNL and Tata Indicom are formally introducing wireless infrastructures in most parts of country. As Wireless Broadband in India is maturing rapidly, very soon it will be standing in top position.

There is a 3G wireless broad band internet service available known as EVDO which is straightly competing with the Wi-Fi connections. Whereas Wi-Fi has some restrictions, EVDO transcends many of this as well as offers always on internet services.

Nowadays there are so many broad band providers that are coming up with various lucrative schemes. It all depends up on you what you choose.

I think best wireless broadband in India would be Tata and Reliance. Although Airtel is also doing well in the segment, reliance and tata have already made their presence felt. Since people these days are relying more on laptops rather than desktops, wireless broadband is becoming most sought option in India.
