Winter of the World by Ken Follett is another amazing book by the author. The story of the book dates back to 1933 when Hitler ruled Germany. The best part of this novel is the history, Follett is able to refine the history in to little pieces and amalgamate the information into readable dialogue. Follett brought into the inner sanctums of government, whether it is the Russian, British or American versions. These parts were the gems as they exemplified how the world was nothing but a chess board for the cream of the crop and moneyed to influence. Overall this book is a nice read and well-written.
