Justice Verma's Panel has made certain recommendations in his report to ensure that women get rightful justice. Some of the recommendations include, recognition of marital rape, women getting autonomy of her choices and her body be respected and safeguarded. It also recommends that senior cops could be punished by the junior cops for rapes in custody. Even military officers are recommended to face trial in the civil courts of law.
