Women choosing operation these days because they are weak and cannot bear the pain that normal delivery gives them. if you go for an operation then you would not be able to get back to your normal routine in few days and it would take you months to recover. But still women choosing the process of cesarean over normal delivery due to the pain. Women think that they will remain in shape even after the operation which is a myth and not true at all.

Caesarean Births in India is increasing. Births by caesarean have been increased in recent years all over the globe. While nearly one in every two births in China is delivered by C-section, the rate is around two in five in Thailand and Vietnam and nearly one in five in India. In India, the rate is 18% of pregnant women delivered by C-section.

The C section offers good number of benefits which a woman can reap. The C section does not give the pregnant woman any pains which she may to go through if it were a normal pregnancy. The C section also offers a good amount of privacy during the delivery, where the personal areas need not be uncovered. Apart from all this, In C section the delivery can be timed and may be preponed or postponed while this is not possible in a normal delivery.

Cesarean is happening a lot these days due to many reasons and one of the most important reasons that one could think of is painless delivery. many pregnant ladies want to protect themselves from the labor pain and hence they opt for cesarean. They usually go for this technique to get relief from pain. this is not a good idea though.

    Caesarean Birth in India

As per the reports more than 60% of the hospitals where these C-section took place did it for financial gains and not because it was required. This boom has jeopardized women’s health in world over. Even women are opting for C-section due to the fear of labor. In India, C-sections cost an average of Rs 20,000 more than normal.

It has been observed that today more than half of the women folk go for caesarean deliveries. It is because today women fear to bear the pain of normal delivery but do not understand the risk it carries along. Most of the hospitals and nursing homes recommend C-section or caesarean delivery only for monetary gains. C-section deliveries can be a risk to the lives of both the mother and the child and at times it is seen that the child is born with many defects. It is advisable to go for normal deliveries except for some extreme cases.

Women are opting for C-section delivery because they fear the pain during normal delivery. Although normal delivery is beneficial for both the mother and child but it has been seen that women today prefer caesarean delivery over normal delivery because they do not want to go through the pain and most women opt for C-section not for the first delivery but for the subsequent deliveries as they does not want to face the same pain they went through during their first one.

I dont think so there is any life threatening situations in C-sections. It is much safer than Normal delivery.

An important reason is supersition --- parents want children to be born at one particulalry auspicious moment, but Mother Nature is not willing to oblige unlike the doctors who are interested in money.
