One of the main reasons which i feel is that EU is in a big mess. The EU crisis would engulf Turkey which is relatively on a better side. Spain and Greece of EU are the major sufferers of European crisis. Turkey on the other hand is growing at around 10% which would mean that Turkey would have to bail out the nations under crisis. Moreover France and Germany are the major decision makers of EU and this would mean that even if Turkey joins the EU and supports the crisis, it will have to go by the decisions of France and Germany. Any more thoughts on this?
