Why Are We Indians Poor ?

    To reflect and... Act.
The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is not the age of the country.
This can be shown by countries like India & Egypt that are more than 2000 years old and are poor.
On the other hand, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, those 150 years ago was inexpressive, today is developed countries and is rich.
The difference between poor & rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources.
Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, inadequate for agriculture & cattle rising, but it is the second world economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.
Another example is Switzerland, which does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate of the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year. Not enough, they produce dairy products of the best quality. It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order & labor, which made it the world’s strong safe.
Executives from rich countries who communicate with their counterparts in poor countries show that there is no significant intellectual difference.
Race or skin colors are also not important: immigrants labeled lazy in their countries of origin are the productive power in rich European countries.
    What is the difference then?
The difference is the attitude of the people, framed along the years by the education & the culture.
On analyzing the behavior of the people in rich & developed countries, we find that the great majority follow the following principles in their lives:
    1. Ethics, as a basic principle.
    2. Integrity.
    3. Responsibility.
    4. Respect to the laws & rules.
    5. Respect to the rights of other citizens.
    6. Work loving.
    7. Strive for saving & investment.
    8. Will of super action.
    9. Punctuality.

In poor countries, only a minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.
We are not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel to us.
We are poor because we lack attitude.

We lack the will to comply with and teach these functional principles of rich & developed societies.
If you do not forward this message nothing will happen to you. Your pet will not die, you will not be fired, you will not have bad luck for seven years and also you will not get sick.
If you love your country, let this message circulate for a major quantity of people could reflect about this & CHANGE, ACT!!

    India is Not Poor

i dont agree with that look at Saudis/UAE they lack morals and basic principals but look how rich they are just because of their natural resources aka OIL & their small population compared to INDIA. their resources is more than enough for their population.

The main problem for India's poverty is our population. our govt dose not seem to care much about it right now but in future they will regret it big time.. we should have one child policy in India.

India's GDP is over 3 Trillion ( it could be shared equally if it the population was small we would be rich) and 3# in Asia with highest GDP (PPP) after Japan and China and we are still poor and our nominal GDP is less than $1000 Per capital if it was not for population it would be quite different for India

    You do that math...

    --------------------------

    GDP (PPP)

    UAE Population - 4,621,399

    GDP - $184.984 billion

    Per capital - $38,830

    GDP (nominal)

    Total - $260.141 billion

    Per capital - $54,606

    ----------------------------

    GDP (PPP)

    India Population - 1,147,995,904

    Total - $3,288 trillion

    Per capital - $2,762

    GDP (nominal)

    Total $1,209 trillion

    Per capital $1,016

    -----------------------------

If only our population was not so big we would be a rich nation

    is India Poor ?

In international market, India is not poor, but then you are right, if you look at the gloomy and real picture of India, where there is lot of misery. The reasons for Indians being poor are, over population, lack of education, unemployment and political corruption. Every policy is well designed on papers, but they are never implemented in a correct manner. The government is spending money unwisely and mostly it goes to Swiss Bank. With all these factors, there is no doubt that Indian will continue suffering from monetary crisis.

yes, most of the people living in the rural and suburbs are financially poor. the reason for this is we do not have strong will power to come up. people here try living in their own world and do not take steps to see the outside world. in the developed cities, poor take up begging. why dont they work as labourers instead and get a permanent job.

The main reason for India being poor is due to illiteracy. Lack of implementation of Planning ,ideas and lack of love and responsibility for their jobs and Country

IGNORANCE is what is making india poor. i think both innocence and ignorance are responsible for india being poor. the people living in remote parts who are major population of india are ignorant of tactics and strategies of life. illiteracy and unemployment prevails in these parts of india which changes the per capita and thus the whole figure of india
