Indian women have been brought in an atmosphere where they were trained and taught to be persistent and courageous while facing any upheaval coming in their lives may it be in any aspect. And this ideology makes them obedient slaves to tolerate all the suppressions and exploitation taking place against them in their family by their men. But why to tolerate this vicious chain of violence and abuses, when the girl already gets to know about the demanding and abusive attitude of her man then why does she confirms over her marriage with such a man and even if she comes to realize this after the marriage then also why does she bear all the tortures and pains? This is not at all justified. And why it should be? There is no point in making such ridiculed compromises and showing the extents of patience and tolerance. It is actually the old established ideology of the Indian social system that guides the women not to raise their voices against any crime or violence done to them and rather become more permissive and silent, this will show the heights of patience in a lady and would make her great in the eyes of others. But what greatness is there in tolerating and getting married to such criminal men who abuse and kill their innocent wives for the sake of dowry and other reason? Here the girls must need to act rather in a broader manner, if she anyhow "feels" that the man she is going to marry may trouble her in the future then she must be ready to refuse that proposal despite of making it a family/parental prestige issue. This is a one time courageous move that she has to make, at least she will not have to tolerate the unwanted abuses and violence in her future. And after the marriage as well as the very first crime done to her, she must take the help of law and should inform her parents about the things happening with her.
