As we all know about the distance education courses which are booming in the market at present time. if we talk about the benefits of these distance learning course then these are best. you can do distance learning course without attending any class and labs. If you are a working man or woman, then these are best. second thing distance learning course are very nominal in price than regular professional courses. so if you are looking a professional course in right fees and flexibility, then distance learning is a best option for you.
Personally speaking, although distance learning opportunities are booming but, I am not sure how far stretched there effect could be. For internal job posts or as an additional degree with a main degree or unless it is something like a professional course like CA, I believe simply a distance learning degree with graduation won't help in such a competitive market. You may not be able to land in a good job, JUST on the basis of a distance learning degree. But then that's what I have understood from my 10 years experience in recruitment. Vaibhav
