Many people think various reason of the fail of third year plan. During the third plan it was realized that agriculture was the priority not industrialization. So, India needed to be made into a self reliant nation. However, this plan failed due to unforeseen circumstances: • Indo-China war (1962) • Indo-Pak War (1965) • Worst drought in a century (1965-66)
