India's five-year-e-government plan was successful. Indian government's 5 year e-government plan through 2011 was assigned one nominal INR 23,000 crore budget. This budget comprises 26 crore projects including income tax, agriculture, land records, pensions, and passports. But even at beginning of 2010 numerous such projects are yet to be tendered or awarded.
