First of all it is extremely important to understand that what do we apprehend by the term "Indians"? It is just a tag of being the citizen of India or does it have a relevant importance for the people living in the same? For me, being an Indian is not just a tag, but much more than that, it gives me a "Identity" while living in the nation. It makes me feel that I am too a significant role player in the building of the nation, perhaps without this identity it becomes quite tough for me to survive in a country where I cannot realize the feeling of belonging-ness. And this feeling remains the same for each of the members of the nation despite of belonging to any region, state or area. We all are Indians and stand all together, as "One Nation and One Human Race". But what hurts more when few groups of people begin to discriminate among the other brother groups and people on the basis of their different race, creed or culture. At least such attitudes are not admired when coming from the side of the Indians. The Northeast Indians have to face many discriminations and inferior attitudes from the rest of the people of other states, particularly from the North Indians. Racism is the basic reason of such discrimination and to stop all of those we all Indians must lock the fact in our minds that "India might be divided and spread into different states, territories, cultures, traditions but still the 'Soul' of Indian-ness is the same for each one of us. This is the beauty of India that it reflects strength even in the diversity. In order to terminate any kind of difference and discrimination it is must remember all the times that by bullying our brothers and sisters of any other state we are not doing a kind and virtuous thing. It is a shame for the Indians to disrespect another Indian.
