To many of us the difference would be just interchanging of the words. However, it is not so. Both the words has a vast difference. Human beings are considered as superior among all animals who are bestowed with intellect, ability to speak etc. Being human means being an actual human being or superior in reality with our right deeds and actions.

What according to you is the difference between a Human Being and Being Human?

A human being would be what Sigmund Freud calls the 'id'. This would be the organism in his or her nascent state being governed by the pleasure principal.

Being human, on the other hand, would entail having a developed ego and superego. This would require the person to behave in a proper way in the society

Ironically there is a stark difference between the terms which are otherwise similar alphabetically. The journey to being a human of a human being is long and not all reach the end in the journey of life. We, the humans, are epitome of super intelligence and scientific mastery but what separates us from being really one is the level of compassion, benevolence, kindness or in one word – our Emotional Quotient (EQ). To be smart in a World, with a high aptitude might make one different but to be able to ‘not’ be a twitch while dealing with people is the real call.
