MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy) is a unique feature of the Indian Law which deals with termination of pregnancy by using Abortion methods under certain conditions. The patient needs to fulfill a criterion to be eligible to get the abortion done. Do you think this law is justified? How can one get the license to kill the life no matter if that is still inside the womb? There are countries where this is legal but it is not legal in our system and should not be made legal either. We have no right to kill someone who has not yet seen the world.

I guess this MTP is somewhat related to the problem of PCOD. What is the meaning of PCOD? Most of the women have now been a patient of PCOD. It means polycystic ovarian disorder. The adoption of unhealthy lifestyle and foods have been the basic reason for PCOD and also it is worth noting that this has contributed to increased infertility rates in females. Killing of a fetus will directly or indirectly take you to the infertility.

MTP is no way related to PCOD. It is Medical Termination of Pregnancy where a women can terminate unwanted or even desired pregnancy under Medical supervision. It is very much prevalent in India but an order of the Court is important. It is generally done only when the pregnancy is risky for both the mother and child and sometimes it is done when the pregnancy is unwanted and the mother is not capable of taking care of the baby.
