ADSL is the acronym of asymmetric digital subscriber line. It is a type of DSL broadband technology, which enables fast access to internet. It allows fast download through internet. The difference between ADSL and SDL modems are that ADSL only offers fast download speed, where as SDL modems offers both fast uploading and downloading speed and is perfect for gaming and servers of any type. SDL modems are costlier than ADSL modem.
