Section 106 of the Indian Evidence Act specifies that the burden of proof would be on the person who has special knowledge of relevant facts. I would like to know about what Section 106 of Indian Evidence act provides and what exactly is burden of proof? What is meant be special knowledge of relevant facts?

According to Section 106 of Indian Evidence act, the burden of proof would be on the person who has special knowledge of relevant facts. Burden of proof means "the necessity of proof always lies with the person who lays charges." The section 106 of the Indian Evidence act illustrates that when a person does an act with some intention other than that which the character and circumstances of the act suggest, the burden of proving that intention is upon him.
