What can we do to make India Better?

Small things like saving accounts in National Banks, helping a poor child to read or write and cleaning up your neighborhood communities can make huge difference .

The discussion is about on what can make India a best place in the world.In other words, what are the specific changes that are required to India as on today to become "THE" best place in the world.

My dream is, there should come a day were passport restrictions should be imposed for coming into India. People from all over the world should struggle black and blue to get an Indian visa.

I have just posted this topic so that we can get various plan out of mind of the people of this India Forum to make India Better.

Please enumerate the ways in which an Indian can help India !

India is the greatest country. We have many beauties like Taj Mahal,Charminar,Golconda fort, Red fort etc and many wonderful temples like Golden temple, Madhura Meenakshi temple,Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, Sai Baba temple in Shirdi etc and many sacred rivers. So by this we prove that India is a rich country. Yes India is rich but Indians are poor. We should help our country in anyway. We should reduce the poverty and corruption in India. Come on awake, do something for our nation from today onwards.

 

first up all.... to improve INDIA....

We have to change our self ,then our family ,friends etc and then by publicly..

see India is already a great nation...but today its greatness is only limited within the books of history or sculptures.The nation providing the preachings of honesty and nonviolence is totally on a track which is in quite opposite direction.The need of time is to modify ourselves and to change our way of treating our country.I mean to say why we all seek for jobs outside India? When the supreme court impose some laws why some persons among us try to break them? why we actually not cooperate in maintaining our city clean?? So guys first who need improvement are us.

if we will succeed in improving ourselves..nobody can stop our nation from being the best...

 

India is a Best Place

Today people have no regard for truth. Many people do not really mean what they speak. They have something in their mind but say just the opposite. They manipulate their words according to the person and situation. Truth is that which does not change with time. Truth is changeless in past, present and future. Truth is one, not two. The Upanishads (ancient Indian scriptures) extol the principle of truth in many ways. Truth cannot be described in words. Bliss is its form. When you close your eyes and start contemplating on truth, you will experience inexpressible bliss. Unknowingly, you start smiling. Where has this smile come from? It has come from your feelings of bliss. And what is the source of bliss? The source of bliss is God. The happiness you get by your union with God is eternal. Happiness is union with God. When you are dua l-minded, you cannot experience this happiness.

 

Going up a level, pay your taxes, try not to bribe someone nor accept them, make charities to National Defence Fund /earthquake/ hurricane/ flood affected areas, raise awareness about the happenings around you...

If majority of the people do these steps correctly (its very hard, I know) India will progress more quickly than what it is doing.

 

I think only singing patriotic songs is not sufficient activity to make India better...we should be aware of our duties and responsibilities towards our nation.We need to make India Our Country Clean in Physical , mental and Intellectual levels.

Physical : Environment around us We need to keep clean and hygenic.Once environment is clean, Our brotheren and sisters around us and ourself will be healthy .This is one of expectations of Swamy Vivekananda on our generation.

Mental : We have keep our thoughts clean.This is at the mental level.Once mental level is set right.Because of mental attitude of the people being garbage thoughts gets deposited in the minds of people which lead to wrong actions.

Intellectual : Keeping Intellectual clean ness gives a correct direction to act on.

We need to start working on all the three like a Vandematram movement happened during freedom struggle at once and stop not till the goal is reached and dream is visualized.

 

To change the nation, first of all we should look at ourselves, if we can change ourselves then we can help others too.

 

to make India better our youth should participate in politics as we are full of ideas , and know what is good for our country , if we will work for India without thinking of ourselves then the problems of corruption will get reduced

 

Make India better

Hi,

First step is define our goal. What do we mean by making India better? Is it reducing the starvation deaths? Is it reducing illiteracy? Is it providing a roof over the head of every one? Is it improving farm and industrial productivity? Is it matching production to consumption? Is it improving the road, rail, water and air travel comfortable? Is it improving the means of communication? Well, we can add a number of goals depending on our own vocation.

Once we define the goal, the next step is to device a strategy to achieve the set goal. The strategy will differ from individual to individual. The level of education, the area of specialization, financial and social status, to name a few, influence the individual strategy. Every one of us can contribute to the welfare of the community in which we live by resolving to deposit more than we withdraw from the kitty. The kitty will grow only when the deposit exceeds the withdrawals. Anything that does not grow decompose and decay. We may look out to identify atleast one person who actually does it in our locality and then pass on this information to our family and friends. Show respect to the person so identified. It will have a cascading effect on the wellbeing of the society.

 

• Use the manpower of underprivileged persons who are on the street.
• Use the rain water with out wasting
• Utilize the lands lying idle
• Reduce the service period of government employees and give opportunities for unemployed people
• Should not vote for corrupt politicians
• Should not vote second time for a person

It is very important to give equal opportunities to everyone. The government tries hard to eradicate poverty from India. It has to extend its help by creating opportunities to all those without looking at gender, race, religion, region, etc.

 

All we need is a little bit of strength and courage to build a new India, an India which we can truly feel proud of.

 

what should be done for India development

India should be treated as our mother.Because she gives us her full source to live in the globe.we should accept our failure in the eradication of the natural resources which should be saved by us.we (yes i can understand, when others making the condition of the war must faced by non-harm for the nature) use the nature for the evil reflection of the science i.e., atomic energy that is not opt way to reach our goal.INDIA IS ALWAYS A PEACEMAKER.so we have to do our works towards forests promotion,chemical restriction on the surface of the earth.And the major duty towards our future generation must be kept in their mind our India is soul for them.

NATURAL IS OUR POWER

 

The real issue lies with the Political system and the Indian Leaders until we change them and bring some good leader we cannot Improve anything here.We know of many Org,NGO working for all the points we are disscussing here ,Removing of Poverty,Removing Corruption,Improving Education but still no NGO is able to do it the simple reasone is the Political leader who stop them from doing the good things.

So we need to think of this problem and i feel if our Politicians get good all other issue will be solved automatically.

 

I got to say that why don't we Indian nationals tries to make our country more developed in the glove, which is only be possible if we change our thinking our attitude our nature etc.

 

Everyone says we need to change we need to change can you please tell me what we need to change? and when will we change? after India is been devided into states or our leader divide it on bases of cast?

There are many ways by which you can help India to make a betetr place to live in! There are several ways by whcih you can feel proud to be an India and make tehcountry worth living in.. Be true to yourself and do not throw garbage in open. Do little things and it will be better for India as a whole.
