India has a great judiciary system, however it cannot be denied that there are several loopholes in our judiciary system. With the recent scams such as the 2G scam, CWG scam, Adarsh society scam and various other scams which have implicated various business magnates and politicians are free without facing any sort of trials (except for few). Most of the cases which are not highlighted in media lye pending. Do you think we have a healthy judiciary system or do we need judiciary reforms to meet the current demands?
Judiciary is the third pillar of Indian Democracy after legislature. However, the Indian Judicial system is not very effective in matters of providing justice. It follows a very lengthy procedure to provide justice and it has several flaws that needs to be resolved in order to provide justice to people who seek it. The Indian Judiciary needs to be reformed for it effective and proper functioning along with amending the Constitution and some other statues.
Indian Judiciary is one of the most important wing of India. It is the one that interprets law that is made by the legislation. Thus it plays a major role in governance of the nation. However, it is sad that Indian Judiciary fails most of the times to provide justice because of this lengthy procedure and moreover the laws of the land continues to be those made on or before Independence. These laws needs to be changed and modified as well as speedy trials and fast procedures should be introduced for the effective and efficient functioning of the Indian Judicial System.
