Urinary Track Infection or UTI is quite commonly seen in most male as well as female. The symptoms of UTI are: Pain or a burning feeling during urination, a feeling of urgency, or feeling the need to urinate frequently, an altered appearance of the urine, either bloody (red) or cloudy (containing pus), pain or pressure in the rectum (men) or in the area of the pubic bone (women), passing only a tiny amount of urine even when the urge to urinate is strong. I would like to know what are the causes of urinary track infection?

Urinary tract infection is common mainly among women and women are more likely to be affected. UTI is caused due to bacteria from the bowel that live on the skin near the rectum or the vagina, which can spread and enter the urinary tract through the urethra. When these bacteria enter the urethra, they cause infection in the bladder and sometimes other parts of the urinary tract. This is the main cause and the other cause is sexual intercourse which is not very common reason but the possibility is with those who have more than one partners or does it excessively.

Urinary tract infection is caused by bacterial infection in the urinal tract that leads to problems while urinating as well as pain in the lower abdomen and back. The main cause of UTI is bacterial attack that are present near the vagina and rectum. However, even unhygienic condition of urinals can even cause UTI. Sexual intercourse is not the primary cause.
