West-Bengal's Great Land Dispute: West Bengal suffered great land acquisition problem under Budhadeb Bhattacharya's government in Singur in the land dispute between poor farmers and the TATA motors for their NANO car's factory. But owing to popular protests West-Bengal government issued Bill on June 2011, freeing 400 acres out of 997 acres to the rightful land owners.
