If one takes a look over the voting pattern in India, its not very different like how cattle work. Most of the Indians blindly follow their religious sentiments or some other preoccupation with a party and go vote for it. Nobody takes time to analyze potential good candidates or good parties which can do some good for the nation. If the same voting like cattle pattern continues, India cannot change! What are your views on this?
I agree with you. The voting pattern of our nation is actually similar to the way cattle works. The main problem is that India still has a big section of people who are illiterate and these people can be motivated easily just by giving them some facilities just before the election. 50% of the literate section of our society, who are capable of analyzing the things do not vote and the result is so obvious. I agree that if this trend continues, our nation will never become a developed nation and becoming a Super power as we all dream is a far cry.
So do you think improving the literacy rate would do India good on this issue? Perhaps awareness is another factor which i think is critical in making people vote the right person or party. Lets assume that the people are literate, which means they are capable to read and write, at the same time communicate. But unless they are certainly aware of the goods and bads of a person or a party, even they cannot bring forth any good changes to Indian politics. Do you agree with me?
