The human mind has a very fine tendency to remember and recall the visuals, pictures, illustrations particularly the colored ones for a very long time in fact it is known as the photographic memory of the human mind that enables the person to remember any pictorial form in better way and for a longer period. If the knowledge and information regarding anything are to be given and presented in an illustrated form then the human mind grasps it very well. That is why at the primary/elementary level of education the children are primarily taught by the means of visuals, pictures and colorful illustrations that tremendously help them to learn the things faster and easily. In the Indian education system specifically at higher standards of education the knowledge becomes too much of text forms and we see that the illustrations and visual forms get reduced. But the concept of visuals and illustrations should also be continued and promoted to the higher standards of education. It would certainly and immensely help younger children to grasp the facts and advanced knowledge in an improvised manner. They would be able to retain the knowledge in their minds for a long period of time. This feature will surely raise the interest of children in studying as it will lessen the boredom of studying the huge textual chapters. It will rather make the study a fun for them and they will certainly enjoy acquiring the knowledge.
