Couldn't we just plan out something better in a city like Delhi, instead of making the punishment extreme. That is certainly an option and it should be pursued (making stringent laws), but apart from this we could also do something more. I came across views stating that areas in cities where danger of rape is more should be dealt with stricter measures, for instance the police force could be beefed up in those areas and check posts could be installed. What are your views on this?
