It is a fatal communicable disease transmitted by means of droplets from the throat and lungs of people with the active respiratory disease. The symptoms of active TB of the lung are coughing, occasionally with sputum or blood, chest pains, weakness, weight loss, fever and night sweats. Tuberculosis is a very common disease in India which is mainly because of the damp climate. Excessive use of tobacco is another cause for TB. It is a communicable disease and people affected by it, should take proper care and treatment before the condition gets work. Today, there is proper treatment of TB especially offered by Government hospitals. DOTS is now provided at a subsidized rate in Government hospital which proves to be quite effective in treating the patients affected by TB.

In Google I had searched information about TB in India.
"Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health problem in India. India accounts for one-fifth of the global TB incident cases. Each year nearly 2 million people in India develop TB, of which around 0.87 million are infectious cases. It is estimated that annually around 330,000 Indians die due to TB".
