However food is a blessing and the most essential substance for the human body but sometimes this food only becomes toxic and hazardous for us. When food leads to the generation of toxins in the body it is known as food poisoning. Kids are more prone to food poisoning because no matter how much you keep a watch on their food or you strictly follow the hygiene, once in a while kids tend to eat something that becomes unhealthy for them or something that is not suitable for their tender stomach and digestive system. Most of the mothers remain anxious about the diet of their kids they usually complain that although they keep full hygiene and cautious with regard to the food of their children but still kids tend to catch many unwanted infections. Especially in the season of monsoon kids tend to catch bacterial infections, digestion problems and food poisoning as well. In food poisoning kids are found to vomit and suffer from fever and loose motions. Their digestive tract becomes infectious and sensitive thus besides, having a medical treatment a mother should do/do not do the following things:

.Avoid eating out: your kid is already suffering from the effect of toxic food so in order to avoid any further generation of toxins in the body parents should avoid, giving the kid food from outside nor should eat at outside food outlets.

.Give only light diet: light diet such as khichddi, daal kaa pani, simple roti/boiled rice with curd helps in reducing the toxic effect of the food and also pampers the irritated digestive tract of the kid. Banana would also be beneficial for the child since it is easy to digest and stops loose motion. Fruits like water-melon and mango should be avoided in monsoon and during food poisoning milk also should be avoided.

.Only clean and boiled water: boiled water or the water purified by the water purifier should be given to the kid. Old water should not be consumed and it might exaggerate the infection.

.Medical advice: medical advice is very much needed else you will not be able to cope with the infection on your own. Vomits and loose motions should be taken care off else they would lead to severe dehydration or jaundice in the body.
