It is said that the Sino-Indian talks insider wonderful Quotations 7 to 8 August, China and India on the Sino-Indian boundary issue in the Indian capital New Delhi, the 13th meeting. China's special representative, State Councilor Dai and Indian Special Representative and National Security Advisor MK Narayanan in a frank and friendly atmosphere, to resolve the Sino-Indian border issue in-depth exchange of views. (Official report)
A veteran disclose most of the time everyone is nonsense, there is no real progress, some historical narrative, diplomatic language ...
But he said that in some sensitive issues, negotiations enter into exciting game:

The Indian side: China should respect the facts, to meet the trend of the times ...

China: What is the truth? Trend of the times mean?

India: The world recognized the territory of southern Tibet is India's ...

China: We have not heard of!

The Indian side: Many countries have openly expressed: the territory of India, Southern Tibet

China: (smiling) Can you tell me which countries are publicly before?

    India: (muttering nearly two minutes)

After China's repeated requests, the Indian side cannot to say a name of the country!...

Indian side: there is the place where our people lived for generations ... ...

China: As far as we know, more than 100 years ago, there has been a no other race man's land, and only scattered Tibetan people in China, where ...

The Indian side: You can go to take a look, millions of people ... ...

China: We konw how many people there! Scattered, less than tens of thousands, but after my investigation, essentially a refugee!

The Indian side: That was our nationals, not refugees

China: Do you konw how nationals went up in our land? Since one thousand years, We know that only the Chinese Tibetan living there,

India: (angry) they moved passed decades ago, is our people ... ...

    China: Oh, move past!

    The Indian side: (speechless) ...

India: We have a lot of troops stationed there ...

China: We have clearly konw what's the situation there...

The Indian side: (obviously nervous) you know what?

China: We know as much as you!...

China and India should not to be enemies, but Dawang city is the birthplace of sixth Dalmai Lama Tshangs-dbyangs-rgya-mtsho, it's the holy city like holy city of Islam-Mecca, so the city and temple is important to China.
PLS read 1970 Neville Maxwell INDIA`S CHINA WAR(Jonathan Cape, London, 1970) or other foreign reports U will find the fact.
China government wants to be a responsible one and must care of the holy city of Lamaism.

Right way, let the local Chinese Tibetan decide to choose which country, home or india.

It's Tawang, and not Dawang. Have you forgotten China's forceful occupation of Tibet in 1950. This is not 1950 and Tawang(Arunachal Pradesh) is not Tibet.

It has been taken care of by the GoI. People of Arunachal Pradesh recently participated & voted in India's democratic process.

People of Arunachal Pradesh are not Chinese Tibetans as your Chinese Govt., PLA & your Communist state controlled media would make you believe. So get a life eh!

occupation of Tibet in 1950? Shanghai in 1949? Hainan in 1950? Hongkong in 1997? Macao in 1999?
Wrong idea about Chinese race/China history.

And I konw some india history .There are Indo-Pakistani Wars and sino-india war, because india believed it should own the British empire dominion in Asia. However from Maurya Period to Mughal Empire, India never had the Dawang city. The Dawang city never belong to india. And now people are suffering by india force.

If give me any india city, I can give U a legal govt in a week and make anyone in the city will committee he love China. Why? Because I have guns. Now the same thing happen in your called Arunachal.

McMahon Line? Englishman draw a line and steal neighbor property. Thousands Tibetan people, villages and temples were separated by the ridiculous line.

India fell into disrepute after the sino-india war, not because of India lose war, but other nations recognize india want to act as British imperialism. It's wrong to belive that stronger india in 1960s canbe unreasoned and bully your neighbor.

Now some India politician belive it can recover repute by wining another war.
    Develop your imperialism?

Why can india go back to traditional territory and forget the McMahon?
Respect history and truth is not easy for india?
    Honesty is the best policy.

India nations and China should be friends and understand each other.
And I welcome India become a rich and strong country and don't bully those who are weak.

    You amaze me

Here is for you to read the History of Tibet from a neutral source - Tibet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As far as Shanghai & Hainan are considered - they are a part of China and we Indians acknowledge that - the same way Chinese accept Sikkim to be an integral part of India.
Hongkong - was a leftover by the British, whose sovereignty occurred at midnight on 1 July 1997. Infact most of Hongkong's infrastructure that we see today is not Chinese built, but by the British. Want source?
Macau is almost the same a story as Hongkong.
So, what is the wrong idea that we have about Chinese race/Chinese history?
Our ideas get wings from history books and books from neutral sources, unlike the closed/communist controlled lessons you learnt in kindergarten.

    Lol, you amaze me.
India-Pak wars happened because of Pakistani mis-adventure, I repeat Pakistani mis-adventure, everytime. Sino-India war is a blot, but try it now - and you would be entertained in the most fitting way.

First of all Indian cities are not Chinese made 3rd rated toys to be given away. We have a LEGAL/DEMOCRATIC(if you understand the meaning, if not google) government.

You have guns, but do they fire?:D I say this because China and Chinese are known the world over for making the worst quality toys. What will happen in Arunachal? Your ticket to Hell is straight across the border, try crossing it!!!

Oh! Englishmen are nice when they gave you Hongkong but unwise when they created McMahon Line? Typical Chinese mindset.

India bullied China? Now that's new

Did you hear this from your State media?

No way, Arunachal Pradesh is Indian land and you ain't getting even a square inch of that. Even Aksai Chin is Indian Land, which we will recover someday. Now stop being a cry baby and go take some English Lessons!

I agree with you on that. But with the mindset you people got, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

That's new again, China being weak! Lol

It's right that China military being weak!
Chinese military leaders talk much but do little.
And leaders like to boast of new weapons or troops, and media doubling.
As india force growing, india prefers to use war; in another way, because india want to began the war it's beginning to increasing military force.
I forecast india force may beat China territory force in three or four weeks. But I'm not sure if the war last more than one year.
After war 2, there are more territory problem between European countries, but they can choose the bright peaceful way, why not us?

PS: China medias don't have much news from india, actually only several message translating from india newspaper per week, and I almost don't read any india news in our state media like CCTV1, People's Daily or Workers' daily recently. Chinese people care of stock market, oil price and new movies but are not worrying about india. That issue willnot increase newspaper sale or audience rating in China. It's easy for me to type word on the forum and it won't happen in the real life. Nobody want to chat this issue when meeting someone.

suggest to read INDIA`S CHINA WAR written by an Australian Neville Maxwell in 1970(Jonathan Cape, London, 1970).
reading more and more approaching truth.
and debate is better than fight.
