Children are innocent and pure creation of God. But in the Indian society they are the most vulnerable beings who are regularly exploited, harassed and assaulted. There is a drastic increase in crimes, violence and exploitation against children in India. Child Labor, child beggary, rapes, harassment, child trafficking is few dirty and inhumane acts being highly practiced in the Indian society for the last few years. Small children are getting kidnapped and raped every day. There is a news of missing children every day in the news and newspapers. Brothels are getting filled with young girls who were forcibly brought there. Illiterate and poor parents sell their young daughters for the sake of some money. Small kids are easily seen working at the roadsides food corners and dhabas. The shocking side is revealed when we find the literate and modern families being rude and ignorant towards their children. Children in the modern families are usually overlooked and left isolated. They feel a lack of love, affection, emotional and physical security in their families and homes. They are beaten and scolded on their smallest mistakes. It is the duty of the families and of the society to pay genuine attention to the children. They are not a bunch of cattle who can be treated any ways to get the work done, they are living human beings who also feel and observe everything happening in their surroundings. Children would also grow up over a period of time and their sufferings might take a ferocious turn in the form of their aggression and violence. Thus the society must begin to perceive the children as an important part of it.
