Time has swayed away the innocence and sensitivity of the kids. The technology, innovation, gadgets have given a highly digitalized world. It has become difficult on the part of a person to recognize their own cousins in front of any newly tied up buddy. Most of their actions are more updated in the social networking sites than in their real life networks. This electronized globe has actually detached our generation from the person sitting right next to us. This separation has made far away distances between actual relationships and kinship. The virtual world has dominated this real world.

We recently rejoiced at the news of a restaurant in Japan banning the usage of mobile phones while dining. Most of us who advocate against the growing obsession with technology appreciated the move because somehow we felt atleast in this way people would connect to each other. However, what I find extremely strange is – how absurd and twisted our world has become. We are so entangled in the web of technology that such a rule is okay to us which would have been a bad idea otherwise. How shocking it is to see that we can only try to be normal under strict supervision or imposition. The high rate of consumerism has not only led to the death of relationships between people but also resulted in diluted souls.
