Petition has been rightly rejected because basic idea about the nomination has been the contribution of the individual to the society and for me and many of us contribution of sachin as a sportsman has been immense. He has inspired many from our country to take up sports . He is a global phenomenon who has brought laurels to our country by performing consistently for past 23 years. Australian government has awarded 'Order of Australia' for his contribution to sports so it is actually quite silly or an individual from India to question his nomination.
