Sad end for Sourav Ganguly.The Former Indian Captain and The Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly, was left fuming with anger and perhaps disappointment, after none of the Indian Premier League teams picked him up. Angry supporters of Saurav Ganguly burnt down shahrukh khan's posters, stating that ganguly supporters won't let any cricket Match take place in Kolkata. Do you proud Indians think it was fair that he wasn’t picked in IPL ? Does it have anything to do with saurav Ganguly's performance in IPL , or is it about the money he is worth?

It should be the performance of the cricketer, not age and supporting lobby to decide. Sourav ganguly's performance was better than any player of Kolkata Knight Riders in the last series of Indian Premier League. So the excuse of age is ridiculous. Without Sourav Ganguly's Fan support , Kolkata Knight Riders and SRK will suffer massive loss both in the marketing strategy and on the cricket ground during Indian Premier League matches. DADA nt sold in IPL 4???? this is nt acceptable as he contributed so much fr our Indian Cricket...no doubt its nt question abt his performance...got to do something...i'm sure KKR will lose its following in Kolkata...want some other franchise to buy him...i'm sure whole kolkata will follow whichever team buys him.
well i think its upto the owner of the kolkatta knight riders to decide if sourav is worth the price he has put up because it is the owner who has to pay not any one of us. i mean this is what my opinion is speaking rationally. people may have different point of views. i think they could have negotiated the price if srk was not willing to take him for that price.
thats sad on his counterpart and the fans of sourav. but the blame goes to both the cricketer sourav and the kolkatta knight riders. sourav has not been playing well in the past and that is the reason why the team has chosen not to opt him. moreover he has placed such a high price for bid that it would become out of budget for any team to select such a out-dated player amongst the young cricketers.
