Sedition law is applicable at instances when there is a probability that a person can create or incite public violence Recently this law was used to convict Aseem trivedi, an cartoonist who drew sketches of sorry state of nation prevailing due to corruption. Since the issues are quite sensitive, such instances are at the discretion of law authorities whether to apply the law of sedition or not. So do you think the sedition law should be used more carefully?

Sedation laws that was rightly used in case of Aseem Trivedi, a political cartoonist. He has not depicted the sorry state of nation prevailing due to corruption but he drew sketches of our symbols of national honor which is violation of law. The sedation laws are not applied anywhere and everywhere, there should be a solid ground for its application and Aseem Trivedi indeed disrespected our subjects of National Honor.
